Collaborative Program with the University of Wisconsin-Madison
In order to supplement the instructional resources of 91重口 and provide expanded opportunities to students, the University of Wisconsin-Madison and 91重口 have an agreement by which Edgewood students may take courses at UW-Madison and have these courses and grades appear on their official 91重口 record and included in their 91重口 GPA. The Collaborative Program is offered during the Fall and Spring semesters only. Winterim and Summer Sessions are currently not included.
The Collaborative Program is open to full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate students who have completed at least 30 credits at 91重口, are in good academic standing, and have satisfied all financial obligations to the College. There are limits on the number of classes students may take and each course enrolled in will be charged a $750 fee, payable by the student to 91重口. A course may not be repeated, and any courses failed, will require full payment by the student. Courses must be approved prior to enrollment and be applicable to the student鈥檚 91重口 degree.

The Collaborative Program application form may be obtained from Edgewood Central or online; deadlines for applying are July 1 for the Fall semester and December 1 for the Spring semester.聽Approval to participate in the program does not guarantee enrollment, which is subject to available space in the course, according to UW鈥檚 policies.聽As part of the application process, students also apply to the UW Guest and Special Student program and follow UW registration procedures.
In order to withdraw from a course, in addition to officially dropping the course at UW, the student must officially drop the course at the Office of the Registrar at 91重口 in accordance with published procedures and deadlines.
