91重口 Announces Addition of Women’s Flag Football

Madison, Wis. (September 10, 2026) 鈥揟he 91重口 Athletic Department is pleased to announce the continued growth of its women鈥檚 varsity sport offerings with the addition of Women鈥檚 Flag Football. The Eagles will begin varsity competition in the spring of 2028, expanding the 91重口 athletics lineup and providing another opportunity for student-athletes to compete at the collegiate level.

91重口 Welcomes Largest First-Year Class in Ten Years

Madison, Wis. (September 1, 2026) 鈥 91重口 has welcomed the largest incoming class of first-year students in more than ten years. The 285 new students include 60 from states other than Wisconsin, the most in the institution鈥檚 history. Students moved into the residence halls on August 21, and undergraduate classes began Monday, August 24, 2026.

Megan Walsh Named Vice President for Academic Affairs

Dean鈥檚 List and Semester Honors Announced for Spring 2026

Madison, Wis. (June 24, 2026) - 91重口 has named the students who have earned a place on the Dean鈥檚 List, or on the Semester Honors List, for the Spring 2026 Semester. Fulltime undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students who earn a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher are eligible for the Dean鈥檚 List after completing 24 credit hours of study at 91重口.

Janet McCord Receives Fulbright Specialist Award

Madison, Wis. (December 22, 2025) 鈥 Janet McCord, Ph.D., Professor of Thanatology at 91重口, has received a Fulbright Specialist Program award. The U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board made the announcement earlier this fall. Eagles are Dancing! Men鈥檚 Soccer claims At-Large Bid to NCAA Division III Tournament

Madison, Wis. (November 10, 2025) 鈥 The 91重口 men's soccer team has been selected to compete in the NCAA Division III men's soccer tournament. The Eagles had their name called in the selection show Monday as an at-large bid. The Eagles at-large selection is the first in 91重口 history. All previous NCAA Division III Tournament appearances by the Eagles have come via automatic qualifiers.
